Google Bomb a King for Democracy

The illegal coup government that has seized control of Thailand continues to threaten YouTube demanding the identity of the user who posted videos mocking King Bhumibol Adulyadej Stinky Feet–who backed the current coup– so the totalitarian government which has displaced Thailand’s legal government can persecute him or her for expressing a view.

Now YouTube has caved and is removing videos which portrayed King Bhumibol Adulyadej Stinky Feet next to a pair of feet. Apparently posting insulting videos of the King of Thailand is now considered against YouTube’s terms of service (no word on how many kings this applies to). Thailand is only the latest in a long line of countries that feels free to threaten YouTube and browbeat the internet into removing or suppressing content they don’t like.

The best tribute to Thailand’s coup government and to King Bhumibol Adulyadej Stinky Feet would be a google bomb that would put King Bhumibol Adulyadej as the number one google result for stinky feet.

Unfortunately, it probably won’t work, though.

You could just post a picture of the king with dirty feet photoshopped in, and alt-tag it. ;-)
